Dealing with highly critical customers in a high end market demands first class service.Being assigned the job of Service Manager meant actually delivering this, in a very developer focused organization.Setting the standard with a Quality Assurance program was a first step.Second was a training program for both new employees, partners and distributors.In addition to this more thorough FAT and HAT tests were also implemented to ensure a more stable product.This coupled with added possibility to do remote support and setting up a 24/7 Support helped us achieve the level of service our customers have come to expect and depend on for their Lantic Entertainment System. When Lantic was later bought by Alewijnse B.V. my job involved training their current Service Division, making them able to do service on all Lantic Systems.A new training course was developed especially for this along with a certification course.

At Lantic Systems I had the pleasure of being at the forefront of developing, building and installing exclusive integrated Entertainment and Home Automation systems mainly for the Super + Mega Yacht market, but also branching into the high end private home market where the customer always is the point of focus.To compete and maintain our place as technology market leader we used cutting edge technology with in house developed software and hardware based on a Microsoft Platform.As Software Application Engineer my job was to make sure we stayed in front, finding and testing new technologies and following them all the way to final product implementation.Other fields of responsibility: - Specification of individualized system in conjunction with Owner Representative - Onsite commissioning of systems worldwide- Final hand-over and FAT test together with Owner RepresentativeAs the above show I followed the products from birth to final hand-over to Customer. Working with extremely critical customers who only want and expect nothing but the best, gave great experiences and made me always strive for the best.
