I provide bedside nursing care to post-op, trauma, and general med/surg patients. I am proficient at administering medications while monitoring the patient’s recovery status. I continually watch lab values and test results, while updating physicians when appropriate. I partner with other medical personnel and communicate with patient’s family members to ensure the best and most cohesive patient care. I effectively prioritize the hierarchy of tasks and delegate to nursing assistants when applicable. With the help of case coordination and our patient-flow-facilitator, I ensure admissions and discharges go smoothly and that each patient leaves with the equipment, appointments, and teaching they need to progress at home.

Performs patient care activities and related services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists patients with personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, skin care, use of equipment and other clinical tasks when delegated.

Provided customer service by answering account questions and inquiries. Processed monetary transactions including: deposits, withdrawals, cashier’s checks, loan payments, and debit cards. Maintained and balanced cash drawer as well as vault and ATM.

Processed daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loans, and wire transfers. Answered customer service phone calls and emails as well as online banking issues. Opened accounts including: checking, savings, health savings, and certificates of deposit.

Wrote press releases for upcoming productions as well as articles for Celebrate Arkansas and Citiscapes magazines. Maintained and clipped photo archives. Organized a newsletter with weekly media coverage (print and electronic) distributed to all WAC staff. Distributed marketing materials to the Northwest Arkansas area.
