Position: Radar and antenna design engineerProject 1: A 2-18 GHz ultra-wideband FMCW radar system integrated on a UAV helicopter, for soil moisture measurement.Roles and responsibilities: 1. Design a custom antenna system exclusively catering the radar requirements and UAV restrictions.2. Verify, assemble, and test a 1 to 4 microstrip power divider design. 3. Assist the assembly and testing of the radar's RF boards. 4. Participate in the project's deployment. Project 2: NASA Operation IceBridge (OIB)Deployed to Northern Greenland and Alaska with NASA, as part of the IceBridge Arctic 2018 campaign, from March 14, 2018 to April 11, 2018. Flew on-board the NASA P-3 Orion (N426NA) for a total of seven missions which included science lines over the North Pole, Arctic Sea, and Northern Greenland ice. Roles and responsibilities included: operating the Snow radar and MCoRDS (Multi-channel Coherent Radar Depth Sounder) radar, collecting and verifying the data, perform on-the-fly repairs and corrections, and keep track of the radar and collected data for the whole eight hour missions.
