ASM Pacific is the world's largest assembly and packaging equipment supplier for the semiconductor and LED industries. ASM Pacific Technology Ltd. was founded in 1975 and continues to go from strength to strength every year. I was fortunate to do a one year placement program under R&D department of ASM in Hong Kong. My designation was Engineer Trainee under Motion Group. I worked with top graduates from Hong Kong and China's leading universities over the course of 12 months. Apart from assisting Senior Engineers in lab tests and analysis, I also took ownership of Plasma Generator and Expoxy Dispenser projects and managed to deliver results in a timely manner.
