Transitioning into the FMCG sector in a global leadership role, I led the completion of a new APAC distribution hub in Sydney before progressing to lead an international supply chain including regional hubs and 3PLs. Focused on improving the speed to market for Swisse globally, I lead 70+ staff across distribution, logistics, operations, supply chain and insights. In addition, I have led the development of a scalable global supply chain and operating model to facilitate continued international growth and operational review with key partner P&G to facilitate the launch of Swisse into a number of new markets over the next 10 years. • Opened a world class distribution facility in Sydney on time and under budget, increasing storage capacity from 1.5K to 14K pallets and delivering a 50% reduction in costs;• Significantly reduced COGS, meeting the criteria to unlock 5 new market launches including the USA, China and HK;• Built a high performance global team, attracting market leading talent through best practice People & Culture strategies.

Headhunted to turnaround the SA business arm into profit and develop an ancillary revenue plan for WA, I progressed in 2013 to take on additional responsibility for NSW, including a multi-million-dollar greenfield construction projects. I provided leadership to over 300 staff across operations, HR, marketing, finance, IT, loyalty and F&B, reengineering departments to improve effectiveness and exploit new market opportunities. During this tenure, I also managed national programming, analysing insights across a multifaceted consumer landscape to shape the development of strategies to realise maximum yield. • Transformed SA performance in just 18 months, delivering a 260% YOY increase in profit;• Delivered a comprehensive sales restructure and sales strategy change for WA, resulting in a 47% increase in revenue in under 2 years and a 13% reduction in costs across 5 locations; • Launched the flagship Sydney site on time and under budget, supporting an average 177% YOY profit growth in NSW.

Progressing to hold GM accountability across the Village’s multimillion-dollar Cinema business, I managed >600 employees over 5 sites to provide a world leading experience for customers. I managed all aspects of strategy including operations, finance, HR and marketing, developing revenue improvement initiatives and regional campaigns to maximise top line performance. During this period, I was also seconded to the UK as GM, Red Cinemas, a JV with Manchester United FC to lead the go-to-market for a completely new cinema concept• Achieved 22% increase in EBITDA against negative industry trend;• Led the opening of new locations on time and under budget leading to sustain revenue & market share growth;• Uplifted Red Cinemas’ (UK) profitability by 26% and achieved an operational audit score of 91.4%.
