Als Associate Consultant in het Young Executive Program (YEP) werk ik als project- of programmamanager in finance, verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van opdrachten bij top-500 organisaties. Deze opdrachten variëren van het oplossen van complexe financiële (data)vraagstukken tot het optimaliseren van rapportages en het doen van verbetervoorstellen.Samen met een ervaren consultant of YEPer worden advies en oplossingen geïmplementeerd, waarbij het creëren van draagvlak en inzicht in de organisatiecultuur centraal staat. Gedurende twee jaar wordt er gewerkt in drie specialisatiegebieden: Financiële Transformatie, Data & Analytics en ESG, met als doel door te groeien naar Management Consultant.

Fanployer is an HR-tech solution startup providing insights and tools to develop the best practices for Employer Branding, candidate experience and online presence. During my time at Fanployer I worked autonomously reaching out to new clients to establish first contact, conduct match analysis, and arrange a next appointment. The environment of a growing start-up developed my ability to operate independently and develop a strategy for new business.

At this startup I was responsible for new business development. The role of a new business developer is uniquely positioned as it is the direct contact with the (potential) customer. Reaching out to new and existing clients I developed my ability to present the added value of innovative products. Quickly learning and adapting to the context of this new markets allowed me to operate effectively and reach targets week-over-week, after minimal onboarding time.

During this period I performed a supportive role as an intern for Talpa Gaming. My previous experience at Sulake allowed me to inform and support the strategy development. Talpa Gaming was a joint venture between Talpa Network and Azerion.

This was my internship for my study International Business and Management. The first 8 weeks on the headquarters in Helsinki I learnt about the casual game Hotel Hideaway: its strategy, business development, monetisation, game design and user acquisition. Furthermore, I also attended the Pocket Gamer Conference.The last 12 weeks were spent in Madrid, learning the inns and outs of customer service by doing the user engagement, user care, social media and localisations mainly for Habbo, Hotel Hideaway and to a lesser extent various other casual games on platforms such as Spele, Hyves and Funny games.It was an invaluable educational experience working and living abroad in two different countries at the age of 20. participating in the forefront of the casual gaming, it truly opened my eyes to the opportunities available to create value in this sector. Not only strategy but also the front-end of customer service and working cross culturally. It truly was the cherry on top of my international experience gained from the bachelor studies.
