As Co-Founder of Joan Michlin Galleries in 1984, I have worked closely with my wife and life partner, Joan, to create and market her unique brand of Fine Art Jewelry. I designed and built out our SoHo, NYC Jewelry Gallery in 1985, which had a 29 year run and was the oldest retail store on West Broadway. In 2002 we moved to Sarasota and opened our second Gallery on St Armands Circle. In addition we have exhibited annually at 20 plus Juried Fine Art Ferstivals, including the Smithsonian, Boca Raton Museum of Art, American Crafts festival @ Lincoln Center, and Coconut Grove Art Festival.We continue to create/produce over 100 designs annually and market through the shows to our national base of wonderful Collectors.As owner of Design Perspectives, LTD, I specialized in Sales Promotion and Package Design during the 1980's. The company evolved into a vehicle to purchase and renovate properties,from Brownstones in Jersey City, NJ, to Waterfront Vacation Rentals in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands and Chatham Mass. Some of these vacation homes are still active on the short term Villa Rental market.Specialties: All Joan Michlin Fine Art Jewelry is protected copyright law.
