Directs and supervises the US Northern Command's (USNORTHCOM) Future Operations Division in the J3 Operations Directorate, consisting of 42 joint field grade officers, USAF civilian and contractor personnel. Responsible for contingency planning in the air, maritime and land domains for Homeland Defense and Civil Support operations to include: CBRN/WMD Consequence Management, Catastrophic Disaster Relief, Maritime Homeland Defense, Counter Drug Missions and National Special Security Events. Serves as the Chief of US NORTHCOM Future Operations Center, responsible for directing staff-integrated, crisis action planning and supervising the development of the commander's estimate, warning, planning and execution orders. Coordinates and represents USNORTHCOM J3 in the Joint Staff, OSD and Interagency forums.

Responsible to the DIrector for ensuring Joint Planning Teams development and synchronizing full-spectrum, effects-integrated plans to support XVIII Airborne Corps Comander's mission and intent. Ensure all plans and orders provide clear mission-focused task to facilitate operations. Focus areas: development of the FUOPS planning facility, JFEX oversight, supervise and integrate the seamless complete turnover of all FUOPS personnel.

Principal Operations Officer for the Commanding General, US Army Special Operations Command, an Army Service Component Command (ASCC), Supervises operations, plans, and training for Active and Reserve Component Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) for operations employment by geographic commanders. Focal point for developing strategy, operations, tactics , policy, training, exercises, readiness and mobilization for ARSOF. Directs the Command of the Emergency Operations Center during times of crisis, supervises the USASOC Crisis Action Team. Conducts oversight of the sentive activities. Supervises 7 divisions with over 230 posiotns and overseas operations of more than 27,000 personnel in 32 states and overseas, forward deployed forces. Validates the planning and execution of the command'd operational budget of over $350 milllion.
