The mission of RED is keeping people out of the criminal justice system — permanently — through programs that enhance the social, financial and civic literacy of individuals referred to court.RED facilitates a 12-month program curriculum that transforms the courtroom into a classroom. Our curriculum develops students’ social, civic, and financial literacy through workshops, educational modules, and mentorships. At the end of the 12-month program, graduates’ records are restricted, allowing them to pursue higher education and employment opportunities.
