About Skip Hendrickson

I’m the guy you call when you have exhausted all of your resources and your capabilities and have nowhere to turn. I get called when there’s no job description, position, or plan of attack in place. I’ve been doing this for 30 years...turning departments and teams around with companies that have multiple site locations and even startups from scratch. I take the mess of puzzle pieces, put them in the right order, and then build new pieces that never existed previously.Besides being engaged in learning and selling disruptive technologies throughout my career I enjoy live music and especially watching my son Hunter perform when I can. I enjoy all types of water sports from swimming, to slalom skiing, boating and when it's cold..snow skiing. I am an avid reader and read at least 5 - 7 books monthly of all kinds, bios, fiction and non-fiction. I also enjoy college and pro sports especially football, basketball and baseball. And last but not least I love my pup - Benny! He is a handsome one year old Golden Retriever. He keeps me grounded and is a great companion and friend.

    Next Step Foundation was the non-profit spinoff of StepWise, Inc. which was a for-profit Social Impact BPO (Business Processing Outsourcer) company providing annotation and transaction services in Kenya, primarily for the disadvantaged and disabled. My responsibilities were to build a sales, service, and marketing team which was layered on top of two acquisitions we made in Nairobi - Daproim Africa and the Zalego Academy. I recruited and hired best-of-breed talent here in the US including a VP of Sales, 2 AE's, and 2 BDR's training them in application sales, and then implementing new sales and lead generation tools utilizing the Microsoft 360 CRM platform, LinkedIn Navigator and ZoomInfo. Achievements included -*Orchestrating and integrating the 2 acquisitions in Kenya was our first priority, and then we built upon these acquisitions to create a fully functional Africa based Operations Center and Service Delivery team for our BPO services globally.*By implementing my go-to-market (GTM) plan we were able to take advantage of US-based Partners and competitive BPO Platforms to develop a highly functioning Channel and Partner ecosystem, which drove funnel growth of over 100% quarter over quarter. This resulted in not having to invest in an in-house annotation platform allowing our team to take advantage of several new partners’ investments, utilizing their platforms, and saving us millions of dollars in upfront investments and quicker turnaround time for new projects. Through these same partnerships our team supported these partners globally, performing annotation, transaction and call center services for their clients as needed to boost our revenue.*In less than a year (during the height of the pandemic) we grew our funnel to over $2MM in new opportunities for our partners, prospects, and clients for new BPO sales and serviced over 100 clients worldwide.
