Responsible for IT purchasing, strategic planning as well as disaster recovery.* Reworked existing, dated technology and helped improve daily workflow through the optimization and proper configuration of systems.* Established a secure and reliable network by implementing firewalls, VPN connections, corporate antivirus and did a full audit of the company’s existing systems and network operations. Additional modifications were made to the servers and file systems to ensure proper regulatory compliance as well as securing sensitive data. * Created a new disaster recovery plan that allowed the company to operate without concern as to redundancy of systems. This allowed for seamless operations between all office locations eliminating downtime by having proper fail-over and fail-back technologies in place.* Developed in-house software tools that streamlined several processes in the daily workflow. Creating these tools allowed for a major decrease in lost time and therefore allowed the company to profit through efficient use of employee time and effort. It also removed employee confusion and reduced the amount of time an employee needed to be trained in their position.* Re-established the website back end system that allowed for secure transactions and protection of sensitive customer data. Additionally a customer tracking system was built that allows for automatic case updates which reduced the need for customer intervention and at the same time giving the customer satisfaction that their project was being delivered on time. As a result, it created a competitive edge to others within our industry.
