The workshops were developed based on departmental request or student demand for instruction in specific tools but evolved into a set of workshops called PTDM (Professional Tools for Digital Media) that were open to students, staff, faculty and community members to attend, and grew large enough to allow graduate students and other adjuncts to teach some of the workshops. Responsible for purchase and inventory of equipment and software as well as hardware repair. Worked with internal HR staff onboarding and off-boarding staff, advising supervisors of appropriate integration timelines, and orienting staff on related IT policies and practices within Academic Extension. Served on a variety of committees and the University of Oregon’s BlackBoard Advisory Committee and was included in the hire of IT staff that resided on campus.
