JSConf is a non-profit tech conference for the JavaScript community, held in different countries around the world. With 400+ participants, the inaugural event for JSConf Korea was held at COEX on Sep 3rd, 2019. It was sponsored by leading tech companies, including Hyperconnect, Lunit, Woowa Brothers, Kakao, Line Plus, Yanolja, MyRealTrip, Samsung, Elastic, Mozilla, Gabia, ODK Media, JetBrains, Devsisters, Nexmo, ODK Media, and Blockstack.

Inspired by NY Cares, the largest volunteer organization in NYC, Seoul Cares is a volunteer management organization, envisioning to optimize the matching of volunteer resources willing to make social impact and those related opportunities. Our mission is to disrupt Korea's fragmented and inefficient process of volunteering with tech and heightened user experience.

With USD 1 million in seed funding, XBrain is an early-stage machine learning startup that develops an automated predictive modeling (AutoML) tool. Daria, our flagship product, allows companies to form decentralized data science capabilities by automatically building machine learning models without the presence of seasoned data scientists or PhDs.

Pontus Holdings is a South Korean holding company that spearheaded a USD 2.5 million venture investment into Sri Lanka, primarily focusing on establishing a joint venture entity with Ceylon Fisheries Corporation (CFC), a state-owned enterprise, to conduct enterprise-level commercial fishing activities in the Indian Ocean, as well as processing and export operations.

PwC is a leading global public accounting and advisory firm. Working at the New York Metro office, I participated in the financial audit of the 10-K statements as part of a 100+ engagement team for American International Group, Inc. (AIG), one of the world’s largest insurance companies, primarily focusing on the Loss Sensitive cycle of the business.

Interning at the New York Metro office, I was assigned to the engagement team for American International Group, Inc. (AIG), one of the world’s largest insurance companies, working on AIG's issuance of a CAT bond and researching on the treatment of reinsurance recoverables.

GEC Korea is a preliminary business competition for 200+ participants, with the purpose of enhancing entrepreneurial spirit among high school students. It is the largest competition of its kind (targeting high school students) being held in South Korea. My responsibility was leading a 5 member team to plan for 5+ workshops and programs in anticipation of the 3-day event.

AGI is a global investment management firm. Interning at the Seoul office, I prepared weekly updates on companies in the firm’s flagship fund portfolio, detailing stock price movement, financial analysis ratios and recent developments to facilitate investment decisions.
