 Planning & controlling the Maintenance job of power plants (wind turbine generators) including Gearbox, Hydraulic Brakes, Couplings, Rolling contact Bearings, Generators, Pitch drive, yaw drive and lubrication system. Participating in the commissioning of Wind turbine generators. Managing activities from the execution; scheduling, progress monitoring, erection, installation & commissioning and manpower planning for the Condition monitoring system for wind turbine generators. Root cause analysis for mechanical failures like, Generator bearing failures, Main Bearing failures etc. Carrying out maintenance activities pertaining to following:o Schedule maintenance planning for wind turbine generators for models S6X, S8X and S9X.o Spare management, planning & procurement for mechanical and hydraulic components of WTG.o Coordination for condition monitoring Projects on site for wind turbine generators.o Preparing & reviewing the maintenance documents.o Conduct trainings for the maintenance team on site.o Support to site team for all mechanical problems related to WTG. Involved in the maintenance of following equipments: o Wind turbine generators, capacity range 1.25 MW to 2.1 MW, Suzlon make.o Nacelle includes Main Bearings, yaw system, yaw drive, Gear box, coolers/radiators, filters, couplings, Hydraulic Brake, shrink disc, Pump, electromagnetic brake, centralize lubrication system.o Rotor/Hub includes Pitch drive, slew ring, electromagnetic brake and lubrication system.o Condition monitoring system for Gear box, Bearings and generators.
