I am responsible for answering the phones in a youth friendly manner, filling out the intake form with the young person and answering any questions the young person may have. I then direct the young person to the appropriate service for their needs and I would also regularly check in with the young person to see how they went with the other services. I also did some general administration like making up user manuals, address books and referral pathway documents. I have also researched and been involved in writing several internal research papers for this project.

Was responsible for the day to day running of the clinic, this included making rosters for both the reception staff and the doctors, weekly banking, ordering of stock, answering phones in a polite manner, answering any general enquires from patients, handling complaints from patients and referring them on, making sure the clinic was up to regulations for accreditations and managing the reception staff.

Worked under Dr Katerina Gaus at the single molecule lab. I was charged with getting the laboratory ready for mouse work. I wrote the animal ethics, set up breeding colonies and established animal work protocols that are still in use. I also worked to establish a research project that focuses on T cell exhaustion in an animal model. part of my role was also to manage a communal tissue culture facility on the floor, tasks included making a cleaning roster, inducting the new researchers into the facility, making sure the facility was up to PC2 standards for audits and teaching general cell culture techniques to new students.
