Sydney Knowles, MSW has over 10 years of child welfare services in the states of Florida and Texas, inclusive of the well-being of foster children and youth, developing and empowering foster families, and inspiring adoptive families to maintain longevity in healthy, happy, and safe forever families. After wanting to take a different approach to child protective services, she transitioned out of direct care practice and into academia where I served as the Title IV-E Program Director of a Master of Social Work Program for a Tier 1 Research university where she supported child protective services employees’ success through their MSW education and enhanced service delivery skills through group training. In addition to this role, she also served as a Field Practicum Liaison to student interns and instructed three MSW courses; Specialized Community Practice, Special Topics: Child Welfare, and Specialized Social Work Methods: Policy Practice and Advocacy. In 2022, Sydney took a leap of faith and a major shift in her career by leaving the field of social work to share my talents and passion for innovation in a new venue, Federal Project Management Operations. Sydney is extremely excited to be an experienced professional making a shift into a completely new industry where she can grow as reliable colleague and service provider excelling in resource management, financial management, and subject matter expertise consultation.
