I am an enthusiastic scientist with a passion for exploring diverse fields of science and engineering. Currently, I am involved in a DoE-funded project, in collaboration with IBM and various municipalities, to develop a smart system for real-time characterization of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and reduce the world's carbon footprint. My role in the project is to characterize MSW using bench-scale characterization techniques and I have received hands-on training on various instruments such as TGA, FTIR, HPLC, GCMS, SEM, etc. Additionally, I have practical training in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).Previously, I worked in the industry for 3.5 years as an R&D engineer, leading a team of 15 people. I was responsible for ensuring the quality of non-ferrous casting, material characterization, and failure analysis. Now, I am eager to apply my diverse experience in material characterization to make a real impact on the industry.
