I joined AgMonitor (originally PowWow Energy) as a co-founder to solve a big problem in Agriculture with data science. I am the architect of our Big Data platform that distills an exploding amount of data into simple answers to produce more food with less water and energy. The first application turns existing smart meters into a well pump monitor and water meter with no hardware. This water measurement without any new hardware enables growers to comply with new California regulations at a low cost. When we detects a pump problem, it alerts growers on the field with a text message so they can fix it on the spot.

I ws the co-chief architect of the next generation high-performance master data management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG) solution for SAP. In this role, I provided the technology leadership for the team of 50+ software developers in 5 locations across the world.

I was the technical leader for the entire Purisma product and responsible overall architecture including cloud deployments. I work closely with product management and the development team to ensure we build the right product with excellent quality and released on time. I did a lot of the hands-on prototyping and research for technologies to be used in the next releases as well as leading the team and driving the architecture.

I provided overall technical leadership for a group with 14 developers as we expanded functionality.In Nov 2007, Purisma was acquired by Dun and Bradstreet.

I was one of two pre-funding employees of Purisma when it was started in the founder's living room. I designed the product and lead the team building the Purisma system (a master data management / customer data integration product). I both provided overall technical architecture and direction as well as co-managed the team from inception through four releases. In 2006, we expanded and I focused on the technical leadership.

I lead development for Open Country when it was not yet funded (they were funded in the fall of 2003). I worked closely with all of the founders as we built a team of 4 developers to take the initial prototype into a "V2" architecture.This included several presentations to potential VC's.
