I am the architect of our Big Data platform that distills an exploding amount of data into simple answers to produce more food with less water and energy. The first application turns existing smart meters into a well pump monitor and water meter with no hardware. This water measurement without any new hardware enables growers to comply with new California regulations at a low cost. When we detects a pump problem, it alerts growers on the field with a text message so they can fix it on the spot.
