As an consultant I help customers with setting up their environment and configure the suite to best fit their organisation and teams.Key responsibilities:- Analyzing business processes and setup products (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc) accordingly.- Advising or executing installation, configuration, usage, training and roll-out of the various Atlassian products.- Helping teams getting the most our of their JIRA workflow and configuration- Giving workshops and trainings in both JIRA and Confluence.- Developing commercial and custom add-on on the Atlassian Add-on Ecosystem to extend or integrate the products.

42 is a software development company in the Netherlands focussing on complex integration projects and custom software solutions based on JAVA. 42 Came across Atlassian’s tools in 2008 and decided to become a partner. Since the beginning of 2010 I have been the driving force behind this partnership and business expansion for 42.Key responsibilities:- Analyzing business processes and configuring the products to meet those processes, to ensure that customers get the most out of their installation.- Advising or executing installation, configuration, usage and roll-out of the various Atlassian products.- Generating leads and projects to grow the Atlassian department of 42 and to expand the partnership between 42 and Atlassian.- Blogging, tweeting and giving talks about the different Atlassian products and their potential.- Giving workshops and trainings in both JIRA and Confluence.- Developed commercial and custom plug-ins on the Atlassian Plugin Ecosystem to extend or integrate the products.

Developing software was the main part of my role but I was also involved in many other things within 42 BV.. For example, the introduction of the Software Factory and the streamlining of the development process so that as a company we could work more efficiently and transparent.In 2008 I got my Scrum Master certification and helped two teams to build a successful solution for a large trading company in Rotterdam.

Involved in the migration of Nidera's legacy commodities trading systems to Triple Point Technology's Commodity XL (CXL). Brought into the mix as an expert in Software Factories. Soon after that Scrum Master was added to the list of responsibilities.- Maintain and update the Nidera Software Factory, used by the two scrumteams and the project stakeholders.- Build, maintain and prioritize the product backlog and sprint backlog together with the Product Owner.- Make the project more transparent and gain awareness by giving end-sprint demos.- Develop adapters to synchronize data with CXL and Nidera's legacy system using JAVA.- Writing both integration and unittest with Fitnesse and JUnit 4 to have a code coverage above 90%.- Designed and implemented the AllSeas user interface using Grails, Groovy, HTML, CSS and JQuery
