Provide overall support and legal advice to the Legal and Protection Unit to ensure Hagar clients (women and children who are victims of trafficking, abuse and exploitation) receive appropriate legal assistance and protection. Collaborate with Cambodian and international attorneys on both domestic and foreign cases involving Hagar clients. Assist with case management and advocacy of complex areas of legal and human rights. Provide organizational structure, governance, and policy guidance to Hagar Cambodia and Hagar International.

Support three casework teams (Legal, Investigations and Aftercare) on 32 active cases. Provide guidance and coordination to the casework teams to ensure they meet their specific targets, move casework forward effectively and facilitate clear communication between respective teams. Develop and update the interdepartmental casework management system. Report up to Field Office Director on internal gaps found and training needed. Also reported up problem areas within the justice system creating outside roadblocks and worked with Field Office Director to design strategic response. Attend client meetings to explain the legal process and prepare them for trial and attended respective trials. Coordinate rescue operation and post-operation tasks between legal, investigation, and aftercare departments. Researched and wrote two reports discussing potential new case work of field office. Collaborated with partner organizations in Cambodia to advocate for policy and systemic change. Compiled information, created presentations, and worked with a team to facilitate several forums and workshops advocating policy change within the anti sex trafficking & child protection sector of Cambodia.

Handle all regulatory examination requests (state, federal, agency)Draft and implement corporate policies and procedures.
