About Scott A. Campbell, Phd

Experienced scientist with a passion for bringing new medicines from the lab to the clinic. My scientific training and experience builds on years of pharmacy practice and clinical knowledge.Having conducted research in type 2 diabetes and drug development for MASH, I have a working knowledge in metabolic disease that I bring to drug discovery and development. I am skilled in clinical pharmacology, molecular pharmacology, bioinformatics, in vitro and in vivo experimentation. I also possess budding machine learning skills to integrate the Omics of drug discovery.Add to this a love for GPCR biology and pharmacology! I have extensive research experience with the GLP-1 receptor, RGS proteins, and G-protein signaling in pancreatic islets. I look forward to bringing this knowledge to drug discovery programs.
