Method for Data Warehouse Development: Goal: To find a method for how we can work together with the project, develop and document our work. My role was project manager: To develop guide lines for use of SharePoint for documentation, use of CVS (code versioning system) for documentation of program changes and use and programming of BeautiFIRE. This is a SAS program, which can read SAS code and output to a nice format. Tools: SharePoint, CVS, base SAS, SAS macroData warehouse for call center data: Goal: To implement a data warehouse that can accumulate all information about calls from customers and make it available for use for executive reporting. My roles was as an architect and developer to collect the data from the sources, manage master data, and automate batch jobs which takes care of the ETL process and sends out mail to the surveillance in case of errors. Tools: Base SAS, macro.Reporting Universe: Call center employees should be able to see reports about their own performance - including: key figures for quantity and quality in their work. Managers should be able to see reports about the employees they manage. My role was as an architect, developer and technical project manager to design marts, implement web reports and OLAP cubes, manage users and permissions and put it all together in a web portal. Tools: SAS 9 BI: Management Console, OLAP-cube studio, Information Map studio, Enterprise guide, Web report studio, Information delivery portal.
