I am a Postdoctoral Research Scholar currently based at EPFL Lausanne, Switzerland. Our lab aims to investigate various micro/nanoscale transport phenomena in deepening fundamental understandings to expand scientific possibilities and create high-performance, low-carbon footprint solutions for cooling, power generation, clean water production, and beyond. Prior to this, I had the opportunity to work as a Postdoc at MTSN Lab, ETH Zurich under the guidance of Prof Tom Schutzius, who is now at the University of California Berkeley. I had the opportunity to work on an SNF-funded project on Nanobubbles, which has further enriched my expertise in this field. Before moving to Zurich, I was a Postdoc (visiting) at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST), Okinawa, Japan.My academic journey began when I pursued my PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras, Chennai, India. After completing my PhD, I continued my research as an Institute Post Doctoral Fellow at IIT Madras. In addition, I also visited the MBN Unit at OIST Japan for four months from November 2017 to March 2018.My research interests include but are not limited to Wetting and Interfacial Phenomena, Bubble dynamics, Multiphase Thermofludics, Soft Matter, Complex Fluids, and Surface micro/nanoengineering. As I embark on this new journey at ETA-Lab, I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. I look forward to working with talented researchers and contributing to the scientific community.
