This facility leverages existing dbGAP and SRA capabilities to enable sharing of sequence and individual genotype data on both Amazon and Google clouds between data owners and approved (via dbGAP) users. The data is made accessible through both a low-level API (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Traces/sdl) that delivers short-lived signed URLs, and FUSE implementation that presents the cloud-hosted data as a file system (https://github.com/mitre/fusera).
