As the Design Manager & Art Director at Tobii, I played a pivotal role in defining and implementing Tobii's first-ever Design System, Lunar Ui, setting the foundation for a unified and efficient approach to product design. This initiative involved collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, including UX Designers, Visual Designers, Front-end Developers, and Product Owners.In addition to the establishment of the Design System, I also contributed to an earlier design system precursor, Pro Lab, laying the groundwork for cohesive visual experiences even before the concept was formalized. This demonstrated my commitment to driving consistency and excellence in visual design throughout my tenure.My responsibilities encompassed a wide range of activities, including requirements gathering, concept development, interaction design, usability testing, and establishing a unified UI and visual language. Beyond my design leadership role, I provided mentorship to visual designers, led designer recruitment efforts across disciplines, and built a really strong design team located in Stockholm (Sweden) and Kyiv (Ukraine). The Swedish Sea Rescue Society is responsible for 70 percent of all sea rescues in Sweden and receives no government funding. The Society is financed by membership fees, donations and voluntary work. Despite this, or possibly as a result of this, the Society has doubled the number of sea rescue stations in recent years, tripled the number of rescue volunteers available and built 70 modern rescue vessels. This expansion has enabled Swedish Sea Rescue Society to meet its goal of departing within 15 minutes or less from the time an alarm is received. Crews live close to stations and conduct training several times a month.Thanks to 2.000 volunteer crew members, rescue services are always available 24 hours a day anywhere along the Swedish coast and on the major lakes. The volunteers work as carpenters, doctors, fishermen, salesmen, plumbers, teachers and many other occupations. The sea rescue volunteers are willing to go out in any weather, at any time even during normal work hours or in the middle of the night.

As an Art Director for Projectplace International's R&D department, I held a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our service and mobile apps. My responsibilities encompassed crafting the overall visual appearance, selecting artistic styles, and determining when to incorporate motion elements.Working closely within an agile environment, I collaborated with Visual Designers, Interaction Designers, Front-end Developers, and Product Owners to deliver a polished visual experience that authentically represented our brand and met end-user requirements. I also coordinated and reviewed the work of visual designers, fostering a culture of excellence in design.Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, I proposed innovative changes to enhance the visual design process. I actively contributed to visual branding and identity efforts in partnership with the Marketing department, aligning our design strategies and visions.I led a major redesign initiative for our service, a social collaboration and planning tool for projects, focusing on creating a fresh visual look and feel that resonated with our target audience.
