Leveraging my deep knowledge and subject-matter-expertise in Employee Engagement, Volunteerism and Corporate Grantmaking solutions, I partner closely with our Corporate Impact UK leadership team to lead a diverse set of programs, both short and long-term, with a goal of accelerating growth and go-to-market execution. My role is also deeply rooted in customer impact and focus on operational excellence. My key responsibilities are as an trusted advisor to sales, marketing and account management and to drive growth of the EVERFi and YourCause portfolio across the UK and European market.

In this role, I serve as program manager for executive initiatives across the corporate impact vertical, with an eye toward our commercial business. My role includes a continued focus on change management, partner management, global expansion and sales enablement. Culture will also be a key area of development in the coming year as we executive on plans to better engage employees across our global, remote community.

In this newly created role, I supported our Senior Leadership Team, implementing various strategic initiatives across our corporate vertical. This included execution of new pricing models, international expansion projects and internal “get healthy” campaigns. The experience was collaborative across functional teams, providing ample opportunities to expand my knowledge of change management, communications, client engagement and strategic planning.

The YourCause team leads the market in enterprise philanthropy, corporate social responsibility and employee engagement technology. I was hired for my project management skills and managed 15 - 20 projects in my first few months on the job. Projects ranged from Enterprise to SMB, spanning multiple industries, including retail, healthcare, financial and education. My primary goals were to engage clients, consult on best practices, configure programs and help the client meet project deliverables effectively. Product lines included grants management, as well as employees engagement tools (volunteer, giving, matching, incentive based programs). My favorite part of the job was knowing that as each project was complete, the companies were more equipped to provide community support and engage their employees in meaningful philanthropic initiatives.

I was quickly immersed to manage 20 - 25 projects simultaneously for a broad range of clients from Fortune 500 to small businesses covering a wide range of industries. Projects included coordination of internal teams and management of stakeholder expectations for projects with diverse complexities and deliverables. I was selected early on as an Executive Project Manager for a large international client. I provided guidance and support for the implementation of an employee engagement portal supporting over 30 countries. Applying previous experience in process, training and system improvements, I fostered client relationships and expectations for small and large projects consisting of software configuration, project management, training and support from contract signing through to project completion/launch. YourCause was purchased by Blackbaud in January 2019.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, I executed on annual and long term plans for Equinox. Directing all internal operations, I also managed our data analysts, project managers and trainers, reporting directly to the President of the organization. I applied all aspects of my previous experience to provide key leadership, support and assistance at all levels.

Managing all sales for the organization, I served as the primary point of contact for our client base. I collaborated with other members of the executive team to define the company's strategic direction. I also managed our project manager and trainer, providing guidance and oversight of project deliverables. Due to my tenure and contributions with the company, I was appointed to the Board of Trustees for Equinox, continuing my service after my departure in 2017.

Joining this up and coming start up, I served as the primary client liaison managing all projects following contract negotiation. This required coordination with clients and all internal departments to manage all aspects of the implementation. I authored the first internal processes for managing projects at Equinox, which included project plans, sales processes, training curriculum and software documentation.

I spearheaded the statewide implementation of a new content management system (CMS) to South Carolina’s Public Libraries and schools. A small team was centered around this initiative, including interns from USC's School of Library & Information Science. This position was managed and held continually alongside my Director of Collection Development duties.

I managed the Collection Development department, focused on content creation and digital management of all library resources. The department was also responsible for all acquisitions of new materials, digital preservation of state government documents, and maintenance and care of the collection.

I developed curriculum for a new course offered to graduate students of the MLIS program. The focus was on Emerging Technologies, which included web tools (Web 2.0), open source software, marketing in libraries and alternative careers in library and information science.

This was my initial company out of graduate school, taking a role in Customer Care which was the best place to learn the products and management of client relationships. Moving quickly into a training role, I traveled to clients across the United States and Canada, developing curriculum, writing documentation and providing workshops. In my last move with the organization, I was as a Project Manager, managing projects through their life cycle - from initial requirements gathering to installation, data migration, testing and finally go-live operations. I also served as a SME for Project Managers, providing application support and training of new products. All positions required that I work closely with internal cross-functional teams, external stakeholders and decision makers. This is where I learned most of the skills I still use today.
