I am a junior at Stony Brook University studying journalism and political science. I currently serve as The Statesman's news editor, where I oversee the hiring of all news staff, direct the paper's news coverage, and train writers to expand upon their journalism skills. I am also the Stony Brook Media Group's political anchor, where I lead a team of news staff to produce weekly segments covering US politics.I completed my first news internship in the spring of 2024 for WSHU Public Radio, where I further developed my skills in writing for radio, audio editing, and interviewing.
