As a wilderness guide, I ensured the safety of clients while enabling them to enjoy amazing outdoor adventures. From childhood I had been a competitive athlete in peak physical condition. I was a gymnast from a young age, a ski racer in an Olympian family, a Taekwondo first-degree black belt by age 14, and an accomplished athlete in several extreme sports including big mountain snowboarding, mountaineering and underwater free-diving.In college I began leading climbers on expeditions to the remote Wind River Range in Wyoming, which led to a role as a professional adventure guide in Hawaii.
