I’m a Junior Penetration Tester with a passion for cybersecurity. Currently I’m immersing myself in the world of ethical hacking to develop my skills and knowledge in this field.From network security to web application vulnerabilities, I’m dedicated to learning and understanding the ins and outs of penetration testing and have disciplined myself in my own time to achieve. I believe that doing research and staying up to date with the latest techniques and threats is a must as this is what keeps us all safe.I’m currently completing Medium boxes on HackTheBox after which I intend to move on to the Hard difficulty and then other platforms like TryHackMe and Vulnhub. I have also recognised the power of scripting and have begun to learn scripting in Bash and Python. My current goal is to be OSCP certified and the above experience will help me achieve that.My journey into tech started with a curiosity and passion for networking. This introduced me to CompTIA Network+ and Security+ and after passing these courses I found myself gravitating towards network security which then transitioned into penetration testing. I began learning how to create networks and configure them after which I learnt how to use SIEMs and Firewalls, and now I’m using offensive tools to identify vulnerabilities in systems.Continuous learning is a must in the ever-changing world of technology.
