•Evaluate and approve of new, enhancement or renewal proposals while ensuring overall credit profile remains within the group's risk appetite.•Close monitoring/early detection of problematic accounts with Business Unit incl. sign of fraud and non/late payment issues and recommend transfer of account to Watchlist/Recovery team when necessary.• Disseminate information regarding regulatory requirements, update of group policy or guidelines and new credit/business initiatives to all stakeholders.•Quarterly joint site visit to potential/existing customers to ensure industry best practices and market knowledge are being updated from time to time.

•To carry out independent credit evaluation for new facilities, review, additional in accordance with the Bank's credit policy as well as regulatory requirements•To identify any early warning signed during loan appraisal• To approve credit applications in accordance with credit authority given and ensuring any exceptions are escalated to the relevant authority•To prepare credit recommendation to relevant approving authority•To maintain good relationship with business unit, provide feedback and advice to them on the loan structuring as well as clarify policy and credit policy to them• Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) for loan originating system and provide feedback and enhancement ideas•Participate as committee in Group Risk Employee Engagement Committee and Occupational Safety and Health Committee.

-Approve credit applications in accordance with credit authority given and ensuring any exceptions are escalated to the relevant authority.-Ensure credit applications are processed within the set turnaround time.-Ensure quality of credit applications approved is as per the Bank’s risk appetite and in compliance with the Bank’s credit policy as well as local regulatory requirements.-Work together with the site verification team to ensure efficient turnaround time.-Conduct periodic joint visits with the site verification team to obtain field experience and provide feedback to them on things to look out for and areas for improvement.-Assist in the identification of fraud trends and modus operandi during the evaluation of credit applications and to share this information with the rest of the department.-Participate in system enhancement project, conduct UAT testing for system.-Ensure credit applications within AML guideline and raise suspicious transaction report if any abnormality noted.

Roles and Responsibilities:Sales and Relationship Management- Drive client limit utilisation and expand existing client relationships through pro-active contact, account planning, wallet sizing and effective pipeline management.- Answer client enquiries and address complaints either by directly following up on issues or referring them to appropriate parties. Own the problems and ensure they are resolved satisfactorily.Risk, Credit Monitoring & Compliance-Monitoring and seeking approval for excesses and put up temporary limit application, if required.-Assist in handling cheque clearance & rejection, trade credit request and obtain approvals as necessary.-Assist in review planning and proactively follow up with customers for documents-Conduct annual reviews-Seek extensions/ waivers for compliance & covenants in credit application.-Assist with all ad hoc reporting / projects / events as requested-Prepare of preferential pricing / waiver forms / Credit application.
