As the Materials Manager will be responsible for managing materials that have critical impact on the organization. Will encompass materials planning, inventory control, E&O analysis and projections. NPI Material readiness, logistics readiness from Suppliers to CMs.• Coordinate and manage production schedule, capacity and delivery schedule from key component suppliers on time to support CM build plan.• Develop and execute supplier performance metrics to measure material continuity of supply, buffer stock requirements, E&O at CM and sub-tier vendors to drive improvements upstream.• Identify and mitigate potential material supply risks. Partner with Sourcing and Manufacturing Managers to come up with solutions, risk mitigation and contingency plan.• Co-work with Planning Team to review & provide analysis on the Monthly MRP Forecast vs factory Capacity. Review forecast with key components suppliers and monitor the status of material plan and supply.• Oversee strategic material supply situation and communicate allocation recommendation among multiple CMs. Coordinate with CM and key component suppliers on critical material supply issues and liability etc. Allocate critical materials between CMs. On-site check and expedite bottleneck materials delivery on time.• Co-work with MFG Engineering/ Planning on each ECN/design change, order cancelation and product EOL, process the verification & approval on the associated liability for material scraps and reworks.• Lead communication on NPI materials management, ensure all materials are pipelined in time and delivery on time to support NPI build and others needed.• Ensure material availability and continuity of supply. Work with suppliers to ensure capacity, labor, materials & equipment are ready to support CM ramp-up plan, from NPI to mass production.• Ensure POs and forecast will be released from CMs to materials vendors and/or distributors at right timing (based on lead time and allocation).

As the Global product master planning&Fulfillment buyer in Huawei SCM, the core value is planning and executing the product supply& plan in global supply network, meet the client requirements rapidly, lower the inventory cost; Make the effective plans, security the product switch, work with the product operation to optimize/design the product with supplying and planning. All aspects of JDMs like as Capacity planning, Manpower, Flexibility, Raw material management, product ECN switch in NPI and sustaining.•Inventory &Liability management. In terms of the company inventory strategy, plan and execute the department inventory strategy and management actions, achieve the yearly ITO target. Identify and Mitigate the JDM's excess and liability.•Logistics. Ensure the raw material arrive on time to meet the production and FG ship out per request ETD.•Continue optimize the planning of the product. Lower the customization, common materials extend in the product.

As a MPM Supervisor to communicate with customer Cisco and manage suppliers regarding the material issue like as pull in or push out/buffer stock set up/capacity/order issue/quality/inventory/E&O/MOQ/MPQ/MOV/price issue and etc. To maintain the supply of production line goes smoothly.• Work with customer planning team for the forecast trends checking and negotiate with suppliers to make sure thesufficient supply to fulfillment customer’s order/spike order, and monitor suppliers to keep certain level of bufferstock/capacity to secure the flexibility.• Escalate the critical material issue to customer, play a critical rule between suppliers, internal procurement team&customers for the overall supply/demand management.• To proactively identify potential supply issues (Demand upside/downside, capacity, manpower) that will affectproduct strategy.
