Sky Chua is currently serving as Senior Assistant Director at Ministry of Trade and Industry, Trade Strategy and Security Division. He completed his Master of Public Policy (Economic and Development) and Master of Public Policy, International Program (Economic Policy, Finance and Development) as part of the Global Public Policy Network (GPPN) Dual-Degree Program (DDP) between the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP) at the University of Tokyo (Todai). After graduating with First Class Honours for his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Politics from the University of London, he worked as a Research Analyst at the Asia Competitiveness Institute where he served as the leading coordinator for the flagship Cost of Living project. He firmly believes in active learning and possesses a great thirst for knowledge and new insights, actively participating in various events and activities outside the school curriculum. Examples include participating in Singapore Model Parliament 2018 and assisting in the facilitation of Singapore Model Cabinet 2019.
