Grew partner network, standardized systems, collected data and developed proof of concept. Manage the strategy, budget, communications, administration, evaluation and staff of multi-sector programs. Continuously translate high-impact projects into products and apply expertise to new sectors and communities. Design, implement, monitor and evaluate grant programs. Nearly $5 million granted. Regularly convened grantees, businesses, academics, agencies and policymakers to spread best practices and build public-private partnerships.Acted as member of Executive Committee, responsible for strategy to move organization to next stages of maturity. Hired and developed a team of ten with yearly budgets of up to $4 million. Present 10 - 15 times a year to communicate organization’s platform and technical expertise to prospective partners and grantees; policymakers; agencies; funders; businesses and others. Provide analysis and reports to stakeholders and board. CONTRIBUTION HIGHLIGHTS:• 600,000 consumers reached in 2016. Grew network from <20 to 285 partners; expanded to 48 states and 1,400 sites.• Put protocols and tools in place for vetting and managing contracts of grantees/partners, increasing compliance from 15% to 100%. • Healthy Food Incentive program, network and grantee results include: $17.5 million in revenue generated; consumers significantly increased consumption of fruits and vegetables; ~30% of farmers reported making business changes, such as increasing production or acreage• Fruit & Vegetables Prescription improved health for patients struggling with obesity, diabetes, and heart disease by: decreasing body mass index while increasing fruit and vegetable consumption and quality of care.
