I support the network rail office staff by taking ownership of the Workplace/ office area by making sure that all printers are turned on & topped up with paper and ink and i also raise jobs for the building so if the door handle is coming off i raise a job for that to be fixed same with the air conditioning units if they are leaking or not working i raise a job for it and i make sure we get milk in and its the right milk and the correct amount that we order plus i help test the fire alarm every Tuesday and fill out all necessary paperwork including the first aider log book with defibrillators in that i have to check to make sure it is in date for it to be used, as-well i order essential for the building including tea, coffee and sugar etc. I am always the first coordinator in the building and last coordinator out of the building, i even sometimes work through my lunch to get things done by the deadline, additionally within this job role i have to test the gates to make sure they are working and i sometimes cover reception when the receptionist is off work or on her lunch and within the receptionist roll i have to answer the phone and the gate phone and ask them a series of questions before letting them in as we also control the security on site and when they are in we get them to sign in and give them a pass and let them know where to go if the fire alarm does go off, Sometimes we give inductions to show the new staff the building and where things are.
