- Working extensively on a bamboo forest versus wood forest carbon sequestration research paper- Learned AutoCAD to modify and update a floor plan of the manufacturing facility- Thoroughly researched electrical, plumbing, and other residential codes to put into a spreadsheet as a basis for a MEPI map- Made a spreadsheet that optimized the amount of bamboo culm used to create a certain sized slat based on a cutting angle- Taught myself Revit and created custom wall families (that resembled the BamCore Prime Wall) to model over housing floor plans - Created a unique panelization tool in Revit that breaks the entire wall into evenly sized panels that can to be sent straight to a CNC to be manufactured- Created custom wall hosted families in Revit that can be placed onto the modeled wall to represent rough installation voids (of windows, receptacles, doors, etc.)- Taught myself to use Dynamo in Revit and created a unique graph that automatically places wall hosted voids at specific heights on the wall with equal distances from one another - Helped make shear wall test samples and helped conduct tests
