As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Kirinari Community Services, I apply my diploma of community services and my skills in management and team leadership to support clients living with complex disabilities and challenging behaviours. I work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement person-centered plans that enhance the quality of life and wellbeing of our clients. I also mentor complex disability support workers, ensuring they deliver high-quality care and comply with professional standards and ethical principles. Before joining Kirinari in Feb 2023, I worked as a machine operator at BlueScope for 11 months, and as a complex disability support worker at Kirinari for 9 months. I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals and live with dignity and respect. I am currently studying a bachelor of Psychological science at Swinburne University of Technology, I aim to further my knowledge and skills in this field.
