I am a recent graduate of the University of New Hampshire where I earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability. In my current role as a hatchery technician with the Town of Nantucket Natural Resources Department I utilize my background and passion for marine biology to assist in shellfish aquaculture practices. Additionally in this role, I assist with regular water quality testing of our harbors and great ponds, monitoring of our wild bay scallop fishery through boat and dive work, public outreach with all age groups, and related work in conserving the island's natural resources.I am continually looking to expand on my education and experience in sustainable marine fisheries and aquaculture, marine ecology, fisheries policy, and food security.
