Manage small and large projects to support the delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives. The largest of these projects is a $25M construction project for a new wildlife hospital. As lead for this project, I have been responsible for the project planning including schedule, budget, communications and risk management; ensuring stakeholders including decision-makers, subject matter experts, end users and external partners are engaged, updated and committed to the project; collaborations with internal and external stakeholders, including end users, Councils, and consultants, are delivering positive outcomes for the project; and, project documentation management and distribution.This unique role involves the client-side project management of the construction project, along with, planning and delivering streams of work that will support the operations of the new facility. This includes collaborating with leaders to plan a new people structure, workflows, IT strategy, and budget, and the execution of the change management plan required to transition our teams to the new site.

Provide leadership, management and strategic support to all business units within the RSPCA Qld Commercial Enterprises department, including the Op Shops, World for Pets, Pets at Rest and Black Cat Café. A team of approx. 56 staff and managers across 18 locations throughout Queensland.

My employment with Spartan started as a HR Administrator (6 mths approx.) however due to growth within the company I transitioned to a Payroll Officer position.

As Branch Administrator I was responsible for running the administrative duties of the Mackay office, a team that ranged from 2 to 5 recruiters placing labour hire roles in the mining industry. This role was supporting the recruitment team, as the sole administrator in the team, and required efficient problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

As a Resourcer I was responsible for supporting the recruitment activities within the Stellar team including shortlisting candidates, reviewing resumes, completing reference calls, placement follow-up care calls, and contract development.
