Research technician for the European project: Managing sustainable sea urchin fishery and marine forest conservation (MUrFor) with the MedRecover research group at the University of Barcelona.

Working with OCTOSET (ICM-CSIC) and local artisanal cephalopod fisheries to study early life of the common octopus in the Catalan coast. My master's thesis research project is focused on stable isotope analysis (SIA) to understand trophic dynamics and foraging habitat in the early life stages of O. vulgaris.

Developed and taught bilingual social and natural sciences curriculum for grades K-6. Collaborated with outside organizations and different school departments to develop programming. Created online interactive material in support of remote learning.

Administrative support in data collation and online database management. Recorded reports of mammal injuries, deaths, and rehabilitations. Assisted in drafting and sending community newsletters.

Planned and executed experiments to understand mechanisms of calcium uptake in lobster branchiostegites and quantify the effects of pH on these processes. Presented project findings at the 2018 SICB conference in San Francisco, California.
