I Interview clients on eligibility for U-visas, T-visas, self-petitions, I-751 waivers, and removal cancellation. Conduct records requests, FBI background checks, & perform translation services when necessary. Received FOIA and trauma-informed training to empathetically and effectively work with survivors of domestic violence. Advocacy-centered work, giving clients the tools they need to make the best informed decision possible.

Received instruction on state and federal laws as they intersect with UVA policy. I review cases, question witnesses, write and deliver sanctions. Work also includes interacting with executive leadership and university administration. Emphasize restorative justice, representative sanctions for 4,000+ first year students.

Work includes serving, hosting, bussing, and dessert prep. Also take on private event planning.

Selected from a competitive applicant pool to oversee employed public middle schoolers as tutors for lower-income youth in the Seattle area. I created lesson plans, taught 100+ children over Zoom through the summer. Working with staff members, I proposed and led nonprofit initiatives during meetings. Additional work included building marketing videos with students’ stories and my own reflections.
