Academic Experience: I am pursuing a PhD in Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. As a doctoral student, I provide consultation and support to behavior analysts at the Scott Center for Autism Treatment, and I engage in research across a range of topics. My current research interests include restricted and repetitive behaviors, escape-maintained problem behaviors, rapport-building, and preference/choice. This academic journey has afforded me opportunities to participate in the peer-review process for academic journals and present my findings at state and national conferences.Professional Experience: As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a career spanning since 2013, I specialize in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism across all age groups. My practice emphasizes building strong rapport, applying evidence-based practices, and ensuring skill generalization to socially significant environments. While I currently deliver telehealth services at an early intervention clinic, my extensive experience includes providing in-person services in various settings such as homes, schools, and clinics, catering to clients from 18 months to 26 years old.Service: I serve as an extern for the Association of Science in Autism Treatment (ASAT), an organization dedicated to promoting evidence-based practices and addressing misinformation in autism treatment. My role involves writing and editing articles and social media content, and collaborating with a dedicated team on organization-wide initiatives.
