A passion for the outdoors and a well driven work ethic has led me to the essential study of environmental conservation and sustainability. Recently, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sustainability Management. I graduated from Bellevue University’s accelerated B.S. program with a 4.0 GPA and plan to eventually continue on to a master’s program in Wildlife Conservation. Being an outdoor enthusiast has provided me with numerous first-hand experiences in nature. Living in many different locations within Minnesota has given me the opportunity to observe the different ecosystems, biomes, and the variety of wildlife that our beautiful state has to offer. My college education has supported me with the knowledge on how these various ecosystems interact with one another, not only in our state, but globally as well. I have also been enlightened to the urgent need for conservation, as well as the efforts we already make and are working towards to protect the environment. Sustainability is a passion of mine I understand the many areas of it well and feel confident in my ability to share that knowledge with others. Educating and teaching through outdoor learning is another one of my strengths, I have experience from ski instructing, coaching soccer, and a variety of other volunteering experiences in educating others on a variety of outdoor topics and experiences. While obtaining an associate degree in Outdoor Recreational Therapy I gained a lot of experience in educating and working with people who all had varying backgrounds and capabilities. My experience in the restaurant industry has given me a well-rounded understanding of interpersonal skills and has provided me with the ability to relate to anyone and communicate efficiently with ease. Being an artist in my free time allows me to offer a creative perspective and ideas to any role.
