• Oversee a team of up to three accountants and review their financials and month end work for accuracy• Pull management fee calculation reports for all 3rd party properties and tie back to collected income• Maintain Excel workbook of all tax bills for the year, including estimates, due dates, actual bill amounts, and needed adjustments to accrual and escrow amounts• Reconcile construction cash accounts monthly for 17 properties • Send out monthly trackers for both construction and reserve draws to upper management and analysts

• Review and prepare income statements, budget comparisons, and balance sheets for up to 12 different communities monthly• Communicate with property managers to ensure all expenses are correctly accounted for on their respective financials• Perform a high level review of financials and research accounts with large variances or inconsistencies• Assist property managers with composing informative, clearly written, and understandable variance notes• Submit replacement reserve draws to lenders for reimbursements of fixed assets and other capital improvements each month and follow up on outstanding disbursements• Reconcile depository and security deposit bank accounts in Yardi and research any outstanding items or discrepancies• Prepare and compile quarterly financials for reporting to investors• Submit monthly and quarterly financials to lenders as needed• Review monthly debt statements and tie out escrow balances to the balance sheet• Fill out and submit personal property tax returns and business license renewals annually

• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements for a portfolio of 20+ properties• Work with regionals and property managers in researching and cleaning up outstanding items on their bank reconciliations• Assist auditors at year end with retrieving requested activity and posting audit adjustments as needed

• Collect MD&A and footnote information from companies’ form 10-Ks• Combine information onto text files to be read by computer program• Meticulously ensure section headers are complete and correspond with respective MD&A and footnotes

• Collect money from members and deposit in bank• Keep track of who owes money, notify members of any amounts due• Develop budget and designate where money is to be used
