My years of work experience are as follows:A dance instructor at Above the Barre in Marion, NC 2021-Present. Teaching the art of dance and life skills to children from the ages of 2-18, organizing performances for competitions and community events,and communicating with the other staff and parents. A shift manager at Pelican's Snoballs in Dallas, NC 2019-2021. Managing and serving shaved iced treats to make customers happy. Worked community events such as church events, local football games, and birthday parties. Shift manager includes running the store Counting money, managing and training new employees.During high school, I volunteered at my church First Presbyterian Church in Cherryville, NC as well as town events such as Fallston's Small Town Christmas. My short term professional goals are to find a job with good pay that will boost my resume for a career. My long term professional goals are to find a job concerning mental health and psychology. My major at Appalachian State University is psychology with a human services concentration. I am interested and studying counseling and mental health services.
