My career path has been eclectic. Newspaper journalist, fast food marketeer, NGO media consultant, church pastoral worker and now, I run my own company www.personalisedbible.com where our mission is to make the bible personal for every person. Life has changed. With two kids and the best husband in the world, gone are the dreams of becoming a war correspondent or traveling to far flung countries to tell the stories of the forgotten. But still - yes, still - telling stories and getting to hear the individual's journey is a huge chunk of my heart. I want the nameless and faceless in our world to have a voice, to have their stories told, for people to care.I'm not in the market for another career shift but if you are looking for someone who can listen with empathy and re-tell stories with conviction, who knows how our journeys could merge? I've also written a personalised children's book, "Jesus Loves...", and do freelance writing, editing and transcription. My works have been published in The New Paper, 8 Days, VantagePoint and more in Singapore and in Women's Weekly, The Star, Asian Beacon and more in Malaysia. I've written front page scoops, advertorials and even parenting and marriage seminars. I've also fronted media interviews with Focus On The Family Singapore. I'm currently a pastor at Kingdomcity JB and also a Masters in Theology grad student. Yes, my love language is Words. I make words make sense. Truth, if vague, is hard for the heart to grip.
