As a birth doula and a perinatal occupational therapist, I love to help people find success and fulfilment in everyday activities, like birth! With eight years of experience working in mental health and addiction recovery, I bring a unique and compassionate skill set to provide empathetic, non-judgmental support to clients who may be facing additional challenges during their pregnancy and postpartum journey. ​Having had two home births myself, I have a deep appreciation for the unique and intimate experience that birthing at home offers. While I work with clients in all birth settings, I bring an experienced perspective to those planning a home birth. No matter where you choose to welcome your baby, I promote the familiarity and warmth of home in your birth space.As a perinatal occupational therapist, I help families transition in the postpartum period. I offer a trained perspective that understands the complex interplay of physical, emotional, and environmental factors that impact daily life. I use this holistic perspective to create practical, individualized strategies that support families' unique needs in the postpartum time.

Provide safe, therapeutic, and educational programming to meet patient-specific needs. Patient diagnoses served include thought disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. Clinically assess, treat, and measure outcomes with a focus on providing meaningful activity for cognitive, social, and physical wellness. Provide interventions in a personal or group setting for recovery planning, relapse prevention, healthy coping skills for symptom management, emotion regulation, insight development, and reality orientation.

Organize and manage an interdisciplinary research project investigating smart home technology use by older adults, organize and run research team meetings, and learn more about the research process.

Assisted a 50-year-old adult with cerebral palsy with dressing, toileting, and morning routine including administration of nebulizer and high-frequency chest wall oscillation treatments, as well as feeding and medication administration via G-tube.
