I took a high volume of phone and email contacts a day.

This was an ambitious project to get a feel for self management in the workplace. We cultivated our own schedules, and used a Holocratic method of decision making for obligations and metrics. During this time, I continued to manage all of my CLT Chat duties; customer service online, transactions, exchanges, sending return labels via email/fax/mail.

I did customer service for a very popular streaming service, which entailed anything from setting up an account, to troubleshooting internet connection errors. I helped with password resets, account updates, sending tickets in for site errors, and generally assisting with anything a customer may contact us about. I thoroughly enjoyed bonding with customers.

This was also a fun place to work; as a bit of a 90's kid nerd, I loved being around all of the game systems and new tech gadgets. I think I spent most of my breaks just browsing the video games and graphic novels. I worked front check out, which involved cashiering for both the front end and the cafe, assisting customers with locating items, price.

This was a fun one. I did a little bit of everything here. I would carry the gauntlet for reception in the day time, run errands for management, go out and do promotional modeling, and then come back to help with wristbands at the door.
