About Skye Butler

Before becoming a Technology Consultant, I spent 15 years delivering strategic tech solutions within the Insurance and Finance industries, leading corporate teams as a Program and Project Manager or Scrum Master. The Agile and Waterfall based initiatives delivered included enterprise business transformations, platform migrations, self insurance transitions, customer mobilisations, SAP custom applications and web, android and iOS based mobile applications. I was also lucky enough to spend four years creating an innovative app product, partnering with Australian charities and launching this to market as an entrepreneur.I enjoy coaching and mentoring people within the technology industry and guest speaking at conferences and on podcasts on topics like driving innovation, my experience launching a startup in the Australian and U.S markets, how to become a strong leader and developing high performing technology teams and cultures. Throughout my career I’ve successfully achieved a Diploma of Project Management, two Masters degrees (Marketing and Business Administration), Diploma in Financial Services, Agile practitioner and Agile fundamentals certifications.I am passionate about bringing people together to form positive connections and obtaining outcomes through equal exchanges of knowledge and kindness. I am also an advocate of mental health awareness and look to support related initiatives wherever possible.
