> Supported four neuro-divergent children with in-home assistance for a private family> The Disability Support Worker role (DSW) in the home is to encourage, guide and support the child with their personal tasks, to remain safe and happy, with the goal of a calm transition to school> Consistency from all DSW’s to help create confidence within the child to complete these goals with ease and in a timely manner> Goals include packing school bags, cleaning lunchboxes, tending to pets’ needs, arranging school uniforms, preparing food, setting bedtimes and a time to get up in the morning, and outside activities> Homeschooling via online, assisting with grade appropriate skills such as English, Mathematics and problem solving> Creating a calm environment for optimal relaxation, involving house cleaning and tidying, laundry management, having dinner ready, turning lights down/off in the evening, closing blinds and/or locking doors, making beds with clean linen, and noise control
