Cemented foundations in chemistry, physics, and mathematics at Hudson Valley Community College. With hunger to glean more knowledge, transferred to the University at Buffalo and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Continued studies there to obtain a Master's degree under the advisement of Drs. Haiqing Lin, Liang Huang, and Thien Tran while working on a Carbon Capture project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy using unprecedented polymer and polymer/hybrid materials with a focus on structure/property relationships using advance analytical tools (NMR, TGA, DSC, XRD). Worked with Madhava Kosuri, Dave Hasse, and Philippe Coignet at the Air Liquide ICD conducting gas separations and industrial materials research as a Research Engineer.
